About the owner: David Becker

Woodworking unknowingly started as a child by watching This Old House & New Yankee Workshop. At the time, I was unaware I was learning a craft from the great Norm Abram. This fueled a hobby as an adult into a lifelong journey. Leading me to be trained under true artisans and master craftsmen in the cities of Denver & Atlanta. That training unlocked innate skills that allows my customers to hire with confidence. I opened the Broken Chair in 2018 with a mission to give every piece and or build the very best I have—every time! This mission is a tribute to the men and women who took the time training me when I knew very little.
